Franklin Watson Investments is managed by its sole employee Jeremi Suchanecki. Jeremi strongly believes in the benefits of independently managing assets rather than in committees because it enables him to focus on research rather than the management of people. Jeremi opened his first trading account at the age of 16 and has gained experience for over 20 years – two economic cycles. At first speculating with his personal savings, he later enjoyed enlightenment by value investing, gained the trust of his family, and started investing their assets with increasing success.
In 2016, Jeremi founded Franklin Watson Investments, an investment management firm. The firm applies a value and focus investing based approach, investing both in high quality businesses and in special situations.
Previously, Jeremi worked as an analyst in investment banking (mergers & acquisitions) at Jefferies in Frankfurt and gained experience in investment banking (sales & trading) at Deutsche Bank as well as in private banking at Credit Suisse. In a two-year double degree program Jeremi earned a M.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a M.Sc. degree in International Management from Bocconi University. Jeremi holds a B.A. degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
